Our patient in her 30's had gauged her ears over the years, stretching her earlobes significantly. We performed an earlobe repair to remove the extra tissue and recreate an earlobe. This is 2 months after surgery.
Our patient in her 30's had earlobe piercings that stretched significantly with heavy earrings. We performed an earlobe repair to fix the stretched hole. This is roughly 6 weeks after surgery. She will get her ears re-pierced at 3 months postop.
Our patient in his 20's had previously gauged his earlobes and wanted them repaired. We performed a bilateral earlobe repair and excised most of the stretched skin and repaired the remaining tissue to create a new earlobe. This is 1 week after the surgery prior to removal of sutures.
Our patient in his teens had a keloid develop on his left ear after multiple piercings. The keloid became too large to manage with topical agents or injections, so we cut out the keloid and repaired his ear. This picture is 3 weeks after surgery as he prepares for kenalog injections to help soften the scar and prevent the keloid from recurring.
Our patient in his teens previously had gauged earlobes and wanted to close them up. We performed a bilateral earlobe repair by excising the healed tear and closing that up. This 4 months after surgery.
Our patient in her 50’s had an earring accidentally ripped from her left earlobe while she was working. She came to us the day after to have it repaired. The torn pieces were inflamed and starting to healing together crooked. We cleaned the area and repaired the tear in her earlobe. This is 4 months after the left earlobe repair.
Our patient in his 20's wanted to close his pierced ears. We performed a bilateral earlobe repair, excising the area with the hole to create new edges to suture together. This is 6 weeks after the procedure.
Our patient in her 20’s desired to fix her torn right earlobe. We performed a right earlobe repair, excising the healed tear to create new edges to suture together. This is 7 weeks after the left earlobe repair.
